and why are people increasing their Skymocrits* so much on a race where they hardly feature.

He was dropped on one of the climbs apparently.

That's surprising, I assume Canondale or someone drilled it in the hope of shedding the proper sprinters?

It's a shame the break looks destined to fail.

Net App have been earning their place in this race. Good to see them getting so involved.

rayjay, can you point me towards a single Sky "fan" quote please? I have nt seen a single one

I have on the other hand seen a whole load of posts from people who are clearly sky "haters"

I am pointing now ,,,can you see me

Kennaugh looks a bit red faced in that breakaway . Hope Sky put the Sun screen on.

If Kittel does not get back that will be a major disappointment.

Meanwhile, 2 laps of the circuit to go. If Giant can pull their guy back for the finish it will be something.

He should be too knackered to be competitive even if he has just been sitting behind his team.

I'm amazed how many riders are in that Kittel group, the profile didn't look particularly testing.

Bauer goes on a last ditch effort, looks like they've shed the Net App rider as the other two try to get back.

I think they had the graphic wrong in that last shot. Probably the main group. I thought the Kittel group was around 8 riders or so.

The group I saw had a lot of Giant riders at the front.

The break still looks strong but no chance against all the sprinters teams (except Giant) chasing them down.

Blimey I stand corrected as usual.

Can Cav finally get a win or will he arrive too tired after the last few climbs?

The Giant Express seems to have got back into the cars but still a minute behind the main bunch.

I'm not going to vouch for myself there - just saw the Kittel group and it was pretty much a Giant TTT with very few others.

OPQS leaving the chasing to Canondale and Lotto. Surprised they are being allowed to get away with that.

If Kittel manages to beat Cav after this, then Cav should be worried.

Front of the bunch and back of the chase group according to DQ

Kittel now just 40 seconds behind the main bunch, great effort by the Giant team considering the main bunch is being driven by 2 and a bit teams.

Meanwhile Bauer and Moribito appear to be stretching their lead back out and the team pursuit continues behind.
