No, I think he does. He is still ambitious, he is still hungry, he loves the limelight and probably hates negative limelight as well as playing for a squad that is playing far, far less than the sum of all their parts.MattFalle said:

I might actually shout for Chelsea.MattFalle said:Carrick in charge for the game against Chelsea.
Maybe Ronaldo is thinking "What sort of rat am I on this sinking ship that I joined?"
he's thinking £500,000 a week after tax plus image rights plus goal bonus plus match bonus plus plus plus.....
he care not a fig.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Ronaldo is a winner, he wants to score and win every game. He is not a Pogba. This manu team is the worst domestic side he’s played for in his career (except perhaps Sporting Lisbon who were decent domestically at least) but he won’t give up.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0 -
I actually like Pogba. Sometimes his passing and movement is sublime. I just think that at no point since moving to Man U has any manager got the best out of him.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0

Pogba’s a great player and the perfect example of a modern footballer. Extreme wealth, not too bothered about football if he’s not in the mood.pinno said:I actually like Pogba. is a winner, realises the ego is writing cheques his body can't cash any more, happy to take the cheques the glazers are writing.seanoconn said:

He ain't back at Manure for silverware aspirations and being rejected by every other big club surely pointed something out to him..The camera down the willy isn't anything like as bad as it sounds.

No manager has ever got the best out of him. He was infuriatingly inconsistent at Juve as well. United are better off without him. The constant will he won't he with his agent (who is wrecking his career, by the way) is destabilising and blocking a long term place in the midfield, plus even if he's jolly good fun around the training ground I can't see how his overall attitude will be helping the team wake the hell up in the first 20 mins of games.pinno said:I actually like Pogba. Looks like Manure are going to wait to pick up a big hitter to manage them, so in the meantime hopefully they'll carry on being rudderless. At least for the next week"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

tbh, until the drunk glaswegian goes away, no one stands a chance of doing anything new - he'll constantly be there, red nose glowing, money grabbing hands scrabbling, carping his opinions..

A tax on big clubs to fund lower league clubs.
Interesting idea.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Make it based on transfers and wages? High spenders obviously have the income.pinno said:A tax on big clubs to fund lower league clubs.
Interesting idea.
Clubs who spend the time and money successfully developing players get a reward. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -

If the tax is high enough, it might actually level out other leagues within Europe. I wonder how much resistance there will be from the PL PLC.
Italian footie has been in the doldrums for quite some time now with their very high taxation on transfers.

Just an idea off the top of my head. No idea of the proposals, or ideal solution.pinno said:
