congratulations to us Stevo. Ok, it was only Leicester but here, you can only beat who's in front of you.

Right, surely Solksjaer has to be sacked now?

Should have been 5-1, but hey, Watford can only beat what's in front of them.

This, deffo. He's mega. He's the Andrewrr of football management.

He's actually shockingly appalling given the wuality of players he has, the funding, all that jazz.

True, you're only 4 points behind Chelsea :) We both had easy games today.

this is sad, sad, sad, bad news.

am utterly gutted for Manure, their fan base and football in general.

A disgusting decison by a board who see the the club as just a cash cow for their own pockets.

    utterly disgusted.

I (many) have had to endure years and years and years of Man U fan arrogance and Fergie this and Fergie that and Fergie time and we are the best blah fcuking blah.

...and since the end of the Fergie era, they have been mainly shyte. I hope that in a Ying yang sort of way Man U have another 20 year spell of being shyte.

The only downside is that Chelsea have taken over the 'we are the top w@nker' fans mantle

this. i frickin' hate them and everything to do with them and theirs.

its an irrational hatred built on exactly the same foundations as yours.

i hate them as much as i hate Tories.

let them fail and we shall rejoice.

Sad for Solskjaer, really decent kind of guy. Too nice for the job probably.

I'm finding the rejoicing very strange.
    1. I doubt anyone has anything against the man personally.
    2. Man. U. will probably improve with a new manager.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

he is also utterly weak - wouldn't make tbe required twam changes, wouldn't park in the manager's parking spot, obviously surrounded himself with sycophants.

add to that tactically inept, poor at dealing with personalities and, tbh, he is utterly to that big a role.

but hey, he's going to get stupendously big pay off after earnings millions a year, so he has the last laugh.

So, do we think Ed Woodward will find someone even less likely to bring them into the 2020's? Zidane would be perfect - big name but absolutely no indication that he has any more tactical nous than Ed Woodward himself. Just fairly good at managing egos.

It'd be amazing. Corrupt Sam and Ronaldo working together.

imagine the size of the bungs fliating around - not so much a brown envelope, more a USPS van.

That's just it - managing the egos but still maintaining authority. It's that modern requirement.
Interestingly, Tuchel said yesterday after being asked if the performance was a '10'. He said 'no, it was a 7.5' such is his expectations of the squad. It also sends a clear and aspiring message to the players.
I never got that drive or ambition from Olly and I think that the arrival of Ronaldo put such a big ego into the squad that that collective Ego has taken over. They were playing better football before Ronaldo turned up.

Ronaldo has unbalanced the squad and was too pally with OGS so, in the eyes of the squad, untouchable - damaged too many egos.

Thing is, at £500,000 a week after tax - yes, £500,000 a week- they can't not play him.

Think of the shirt sales guys, think of the shirt sales.

I might actually shout for Chelsea.

Maybe Ronaldo is thinking "What sort of rat am I on this sinking ship that I joined?"

Problem with Ronaldo, yes he’s a massive ego, yes he’s unsettled the squad, yes they were playing better with him but…. He’s still the best striker in the team. What do you do?
