I was driving up from The Big Smoke to Redcar. Footy on the radio for all but the first hour made for a decent bit of entertainment and I managed to time it so I pulled into the drive just as Hazard scored his penalty :)

Add to that a bit of 'exercising' The Panzer and you'd be surprised just how good 4 hours on the A1 can be.

Still can’t believe we ended up in the CL final, the team just don’t know when to give up. I was fuming after the first half, thinking what’s the point of getting to the semi final and then playing like a bunch of chumps.....

Think I’ll get a tkt for the final from the club’s allocation. Win or lose, it may well be the only time we will be anywhere near the final so am going to make the most of it.

The way this season is going man city and Liverpool will probably both lose tomorrow or both win and man city get a points deduction for something! Arsenal will win 5-0 and spurs lose 4-0, something weird will happen!

I did suggest this when discussing it with someone at work, I can see it happening, or at the very least Liverpool failing to win. They have sunk an incredible amount of effort in to 3 games in the last 10 days and Wolves are a decent side who have given top six teams problems throughout the season. Playing at home and the adrenaline of the occasion will help Liverpool but if they didn't get all three points I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Third place ahead of The Spuds and The Ar$e. And CL footy with no preliminary round next season so not too bad. Just the small job now of keeping Arsenal in the Europa for next season :)

Of note (?). In the last 5 games of the season, Man U performed as well / badly / select as appropriate as bottom by a long way club Huddersfield. 2 draws, 3 losses. A wee bit of work necessary there. The Class of '92 will not be happy.

Nor will Manure fans. Bit of a bonus result for the season :)

The Cardiff fans were singing 'You're just a sh1t Neil Warnock' to Ole :D

Very, but such are the pressures to stay up.
They won 3 out of the last 23 games. Perhaps they feared continuing their run after the break.

I always hoped we would do a 'Burnley' and stick with him if we went down. He has taken us from a lowly position in the championship and given us a third year in the top flight. A class act and a gentleman. As we know however, it is a results driven industry. I can see why the chairman acted. Our play has been terrible in 2019. The squad has better quality than has been shown and he was just too cautious.

Look on the bright side, he gave you one more year on this thread :)

On this basis Eddie Howe should be shown the door at Dean Court. Only the 3 relegated teams let in more goals (again). This is rather ironic given that he was a defender. However I'm not complaining, another season in the Premier Lge awaits for the Cherries.
What the Chairmen and boards of Prem Lge clubs should realise is that it's the most competitive league in Europe and just staying in it is a challenge even for the best of coaches.
Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.
