Dour or not, he's won us 2 major trophies in 2 years, which is a better quality haul than Pep has managed in the same period :)

Same number of trophies in two seasons as Pep, but by playing turgid, negative football. He's also failed to achieve CL football for next season (with a championsip winning team  ). Some people are easily pleased

If you're happier watching Chelski's brand of football this season than City's then you've obviously got the right man. I'm happy that you're happy :D
Well if youre happy with an inferior trophy haul to ours over the last 2 years then that's OK with me. And as for the last 10 or 15 years, then I'm sure you're delighted about that as well

I not sure you've even been a Chelski Fan since 2003

Remind me again, when you dumped your hometown club and jumped on the bandwagon?

With your obsession with history, may be you could switch bandwagons again and become a Liverpool fan :)
    Ooh you're such a biatch :)

As I'm apparently obessessed with history, here's some for you

Let's hope Border Force wake the cnut up at 5 in the morning with a knock and a deportation notice. I always wondered how R.A. was suitable material for a visa and passed the fit and proper test for owners of a football club. Then again money talks a universal language

It's ok - he has Jersey residency so no need to be in Britain, for it's not that great.

Yes it does. It's all tax, innit.

Apart from oligarchs, Kenyon is there, mobile phone warehouse man, phones to go man, Mansell, Beckhams, Warwick, - literally hundreds of the parasitic tax dodging pheckers.

Funny how people only see what they want to see. That link has nothing to do with wealth. I personally have no problem with rich benefactors backing a club, how could I?! Abu Dhabi United winning it is the best of a bad bunch s far as I’m concerned. Anything that prevents Liverpool or Tottenham winning it is ok by me. :-) What was being highlighted was the contradiction in people slating Abramovich yet along with those at the Premier League turning a blind eye to the human rights record in the UAE.

I doubt we'd be in league 2 even if Roman hadn't rocked up and bought the club. Whereas Shity were epically sh1t before they became an outpost of the UAE :)

And I doubt City would be in League 2 either, had the new owners not turned up. You do know what division City were in when they were bought, don't you?

And what a meaningless end of season result against a sh1t north east provincial yoyo club, when the City team had downed tools, has anything to do with it I'm not sure

I think you need some new material and maybe a new source for your football knowledge other than some loser's twitter account and YNFA memes!:wink:

As regards RA, the evidence is there. Its no use if no one asks the question at the time,

    Excuse me Mr Abramovich,
how did you make your wealth?
    do you own your wealth?
are you a conduit of the Russian state?

Not surprising when Trump has a home there and they are both best buddies of Putin.

Anyways back on topic, The dildo making Daves have hired Pellegrini and given him control over club transfers.....which will be interesting if true given Sullivans nature for "shaping" his clubs transfers

So what do the Arsenal supporters think of the appointment of Unai Emery as manger? Have to confess I don't think I heard of him before, despite him having managed PSG for a couple of years.

And I wonder how long before people start calling him Dick? :)

Obscene in comparison to what you or I earn, no doubt.

But he’s nowhere near the highest paid manager in the PL, so everything is relative to those around you.

Lacking any club allegiances like yourself I would've quite liked to have seen Liverpool win it. Their run to the final had all the romantic qualities of a cup run from, to go all UKIP briefly (urgh), the good old days. Playing with a complete lack of fear and reverence for whoever they were facing, a couple of kids at full back each side of the pitch quite literally winging it and learing on the job, plus those bursts of intensity and clusters of goals in games where you just thought, wow...great watching for a neutral.

And then to end it all there was Karius. Is he actually a professional footballer or someone from a key sponsor of UEFA who won the chance to play in the final?
