Been a bit of a strange day in some ways!
Anyway, if it means knocking the scousers out of the top 4, no one would be more delighted than me for Chelsea to win their last two games.
PS. Good luck in the FA Cup Final
I don't care if it's Spuds or Scousers that we knock out of the CL, but its still a long shot. We've got nothing lose.
And as for the FA Cup, thanks and well do our best..."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Craziest game I’ve been to in ages. Neither Spurs nor Leicester could remember how to defend.
Hoping that’s the last time I ever have to endure watching Sissoko in a spurs shirt, quite how he is a professional footballer I’ll never know.
Also, delighted I don’t have to put up with any more league games at Wembley. Getting to and from there is a nightmare.0 -

Speaking as a neutral my only comment regarding the table is Burnley and the amount of goals they've scored. I think it highlights a problem for upcoming managers, Sean Dyche gets lauded by pundits and the media alike for the achievements but unfortunately the football quality is an eyesore. I'd love there to be more fresh faces in management to break the merry go round of Pulis/Hughes/Pardew/Allardyce etc being hired, fired and re-hired by the same mediocre clubs whilst also still producing a style of football worth watching but the pressures and financial penalty for failure means it will never happen.0 -

Well done to Chelski!
Wasn't exactly a feast of football, but anything to keep Manure potless should be congratulated
All we need now is Real Madrid to shut those Scouse w@nkers up, and it will turn out to be a more than satisfactory season.
Anyway Chelski fans: Conte - in or out?Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -
in. really like him, two trophies in two seasons, seems like an alright bloke.
cracking track record means that theoretically he can carry on doing it.
and lets be honest, no one was going to stop city this year.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

I'd be happy if he stayed but tbh I don't think he will."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Basically this. He has no reason to stay - he'll get top draw job offers and shed loads of cash if he goes, if he stays he'll get shed loads of cash and win another trophy next year.
Win win for him.
Harder decision for the club to get rid of a proven winner, attract someone of the calibre, pay out shed loads of pay off and introduction monies (including compo to any club they get a new manager off) and then integrate new manager style and wots nots in time for new season.
The team need to realise what side their bread is buttered, get behind each other and stop being a bunch of nancies.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

So that's 2 'ins' so far, which does surprise me tbh!
His demeanour (in public at least) this season has been extremely dour and negative, you could even say defeatist, and many of the team's performances and overall attitude seems to have been reflective of this.
If Conte stays I'd imagine Hazard and Morata will want to go and that would leave them very low on quality (only Kante, Willian and Courtois really IMO). A big rebuilding job is needed in the Summer me thinks.
Personally, I hope he stays too.Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -
Dour or not, he's won us 2 major trophies in 2 years, which is a better quality haul than Pep has managed in the same period
Always nice to add to our rather large trophy collection."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Same number of trophies in two seasons as Pep, but by playing turgid, negative football. He's also failed to achieve CL football for next season (with a championsip winning team  ). Some people are easily pleased
If you're happier watching Chelski's brand of football this season than City's then you've obviously got the right man. I'm happy that you're happyStatistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -

Errr - why did you bother asking the question if you have an opinion like that and you're not even a Chelsea fan?
He doesn't affect you or your club.
Bizarre.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

I not sure you've even been a Chelski Fan since 2003
Remind me again, when you dumped your hometown club and jumped on the bandwagon?

Looks like the Chelski owner is going to get a royal home office reaming. At last.

Let's hope Border Force wake the cnut up at 5 in the morning with a knock and a deportation notice. I always wondered how R.A. was suitable material for a visa and passed the fit and proper test for owners of a football club. Then again money talks a universal language“Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to cycle and he will realize fishing is stupid and boring”
