    You're correct, I'm not. But that's irrelevant.

You stated quite emphatically that when (not 'if') City slip up, Chelsea 'will' be ready to take advantage.

Now you've either got confidence in your own claim or you haven't. Which is it?

    No but I am.

Still want that bet that Chelsea will win neither the PL or the CL?

Nothing has changed after this game. United are still ahead of Chelsea and United are 8 points off the lead and Chelsea 9 points off the lead.

I am not sure. You have no chance.

Given the squad United have, it did seem a rather odd strategy going into the Chelsea match.

Wouldn't expect much different from Jose mind.

  • Luiz was at his chaotic incomptetent best last night so Lukaku might fancy his chances at the weekend. Roma deserve some credit though as well.

Luiz not even in the squad and they get the win. Conte must have been having the same thoughts after that Roma game :|

Yeah, yeah. I've already fessed up to that error.

The bet is (which Stevo will not take anyway):

Stevo pays a charity of my choosing the sum of £50 Sterling if Chelsea do not win either the Premier league or the Champions League this Season (2017-2108).
If Chelsea win either the Premier League or the Champions League this Season (2017-2108), I will pay £50 Sterling towards a charity of your choice.

    Clear enough?

You've gotta feel for the fans of West Ham and Everton..... Moyes & Allardyce as respective new managers. The football is gonna be incredibly boring for them this season now.

Allardyce and Moyes have probably been promoted to simply avoid the unthinkable and not for any revival of long term ambitions.

If those two teams start playing well, that doesn't bode well for teams in the bottom 6 or 7.

    Boring football or the Championship?
What do you think most fans would pick.

Who do you reckon will get Eddie Howe's job when he gets the boot?

And they wonder why English football outside of the top 6 is so turgid - the same bunch of losers floating around and around and around.

Allardyce - again? Is there no end to this man?

I like many down here are questioning his long term viability as Cherries manager. But who would replace is the conundrum. And that is why I don't think he'll get the sack, even if they go down this season, which I think is on the cards.
Cherries are a small club. Anyone with ambitions is unlikely to entertain taking the reigns. The only reason Howe is still here is due to his wife's unwillingness to move up north. Hence why he returned from Burnley.

Should be an interesting day tomorrow. Can't remember the last time every team competing for top four AND Cheatski and Arsenal all played on a Saturday.

Not planning on travelling to the Midlands today - how about you?

The problem we have for home games is that they sell out incredibly quickly - I guess that's a problem you don't have?
