'Cos it was a lacklustre performance against weak opposition.

I think its time to revive the sideline of backing a small, unfashionable club each weekend. So c'mon Arsenal"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Is there a more overrated/over-hyped play than Danny Rose?0

Bit surprised to see you supporting one of your direct rivals for a Europa League place, but each to their own, eh?
Anyway, job done by City, so now I'll see if I can stay awake through the bus parkers derby. I'm sure the league's two biggest hoofball merchants will serve up their usual famine of footballStatistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -

He’s nowhere near the player he was in the first half of last season. Looks to me like he’s carrying a bit of excess timber which he’ll need to shift before he can get back to his best0 -

Nothing dodgy about the penalty decision whatsoever. To say otherwise would demonstrate a complete ignorance of the laws of football.
Dodgy offside decisions however...!!!Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -

Have you watched the first half?
I could see why some might see it as entertaining. In the same way two rival pub teams going at it in a Sunday league grudge match is entertaining.
I must say, watching how sh1te both teams really are is giving me a good laughStatistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -
I'm listening to it now.
Looks like you disagree with not just me but with pundits as well. Sounds like you dont know what you're talking about...or not following the game. Which one is it then?"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
At Half Time
Stalemate at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea 0-0 Manchester Utd
Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Stamford Bridge
Lots of endeavour - even a few chances - but little in the way of inspiration between Chelsea and Manchester United.
Not sure a draw is any use to either Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho so someone will have to blink soon. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

I'm watching it FFS, not listening to it on the radio.
I can understand why it might sound exciting on the radio because it's a bit end to end. The truth is though, that it's only end to end because neither side can string more the 4 or 5 passes together and keep giving away possession.
There is no quality whatsoever from either team with Cheatski being marginally less sh1t than United.
You should try watching a game for once, you might learn somethingStatistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -
Utter bollox. Maybe you're youre just a bit deluded
From a neutral source:
"Antonio Conte is wandering around the pitch, celebrating with his players, bumping chests with them, slapping hands, pumping his fists, saluting the crowd. What a win for the Italian, who was feeling the heat after a tough week. Chelsea deserved this. They were miles ahead of Manchester United today and could have won by more than one goal. In the end, though, Alvaro Morata’s splendid second-half header was enough for the champions"
When Shity slip up - just like you have done in the last two seasons over the winter - we'll be ready to take advantage "I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Ok then if the radio commentator and assorted pundits have convinced you of Cheatski's absolutely world class performance today and their prospects for the rest of the season, let's double our wager to £100?Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -

I admire your optimism fella but Citeh are averaging 3+ goals a game. That needs to be the mother of all slip ups."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

I can't even remember what we bet on, but tbh I've got enough people queuing up to bet with me."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Just a little reminder.
If you're so confident though, you've nothing to lose and everything to gain (for your chosen charity, anyway!).
And seeing as City are bound to slip up and Chelsea are poised to take advantage, I'm sure you would bite my hand off for £100...?
Or am I not the one talking bollox?Stevo 666 wrote:City Boy wrote:

£50 to the charity of the winners choice based on whether City or Cheatski finish highest in the league.
