Looks like Arsenal's tactic this year is to try and score more goals than the opposition. Bit like Chelsea and Liverpool then.

Why hasn't Klopp worked on defending set pieces over the summer?

Chelsea are playing the Spuds away on the 20th. So that's another 3 points lost. Loving it.

Snap. Upside though - 2 red cards and he's absent for the Spurs game. I'll take real results over FF.

I thought you should know that I used the auto complete function to do my team, which says a lot about the team picking skills of you lot

Shelvey really is a nasty piece of work, he got a red last season for kicking Henri Lansbury in the face. Unfortunately the league over-turned it (probably because Lansbury, another CJTC, over did the reaction).

Don't think he will get away with this one as the PL won't appease Newcastle in the same way as the FL did.

Good to see Cheatski back to normal

It's not often that Wayne Rooney can look relatively suave and sophisticated.

Ah OK, so the BBC Sport website was just making it up when they reported that City dropped 2 points against Everton and had a man sent off?

P.S. are you in this pic? :)

Have some sympathy for Bournemouth today. Put in a great effort against City and could easily have taken something from the game. Eddie Howe is a class act and they're starting to become my second PL team. I'm sure they'll be ok this season.

Hmmm. I think City can count themselves lucky. 5 mins of added time. Score the winner in 97th min. Sterling sent off 99th min. Whistle blown 100th min.
I fear that Cherries are gonna struggle this season and Howe & Tindall will depart for greater things. Most likely Spurs as I think Pochettino will go to La Liga.

I have some sympathy for Bournemouth as well, playing against a team that picked up 5 yellows and a red in the game. Cheatchester City?

TBF the added time was about right. First minute of extra time was taken up with the ref sorting a dispute between the managers, a long injury to the Bournemouth player and two substitutions in extra time. It was about the only thing the ref got right all game.

I hope Howe stays for at least the season and gets them into a decent league position.

Again you're commenting (talking bollox  ) on a game you haven't seen. The ref was a joke. Like with Walker's red card last week, ALL the pundits agreed Sterling's red was ridiculous.

But I'll cut you some slack. After watching dirty Cheatski throughout your 'glory hunting period' picking up reds for fun, I can understand your confusion :D:wink:

The bigger worry for Shity is that your defence is still crap after spending how much on defenders?

Quote from the comments section on the beeb website:
"What an embarrassment the Etihad City manager is. Spent hundreds of millions on a defence that is still dire and then goes berserk because of a win against Real Madrid sorry Bournemouth"

Do you form all your opinions based on what some numpty says in the comments section of the BBC?

    It does appear so

I just picked one. Have a read of the 240 odd comments and you'll see a pattern emerging :) Although the most obvious pattern is comments on Citys title chances

    Yawn!
Bitter steward in case of sour grapes, shock, horror

As for reading comments from jealous and clueless Cheatski and Manure fans and the like...I'll leave that to you thanks. I'll stick to actually watching football matches to base my opinions on.

And as for title chances...I'd fancy City's over Cheatski's any day this season.

If I were you, I'd just be praying that Cheatski are less embarrassing defending the title than last time

That's what you've been saying for the last 3 years

The only way the LBTDs are going to win anything is by doing the current Mancheater City act all the way through the season and hope that the refs give you more 'Pep time' like they did today :D

Ok then. Let's put our money where are mouths are

£50 to the charity of the winners choice based on whether City or Cheatski finish highest in the league.
