Anyone see any hope for Sunderland?
That said their form over that 10 games is a little better than Boro's.
West Ham with 5 defeats on the bounce look pretty precarious.
Much more interesting that end of the table.0 -

Look on the bright side, it may well be an interesting end of next season for Brighton"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Yeah the general feeling is that Palace were going to lucky this season because there were going to be three teams worse than them. This season will be a get out of jail one for them.0 -

Maybe, but was good enough when we beat you 2-0.
On a serious note, I'm hoping the semi final will be a great game. If both teams perform it could be a cracker.0 -

Right. I've got fed up of silly pundits saying 'should have put that in the back of the net... should have buried it... how did he miss that?' etc etc.
A quick google came up with this site:
http://www.footstats.co.uk/index.cfm?task=league_shots
So far this season:
Shots on goal: 7715
Shots on target: 2615
Goals: 854
Which means that only 11% of shots on goal go in. Or 33% of those on target. Can they shut the f*ck up please?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Anybody see the Wasps game?0

I hope that despite the joshing, differences can be put to one side for a single day with everyone rooting for the gunners tomorrow.0

Oh dear, Mr Wenger...........they are such a shambles0

Five into four doesn't go but it is easier than six.
Bye bye Arséne.The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -

Dominant display again from Spurs today. Were right at Bournemouth from the first minute, and the 4-0 result disguises how wasteful we were in the second half.
Great to see Janssen get a goal from open play, he's deserved it.0 -
Big slip up from Chelsea, and not having a shot on target all game either0
-
Possibly, looks like it will be decided in the next couple of weekends. After that Chelsea's last 3 fixtures are a gift.0

I must apologise gentlemen. I wanted Manchester United to win, I even shouted.
...I did enjoy it however - not as much as Gilbert winning Amstel Gold and Flanders but very little will top that.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Just seen a lovely goal from Sanchez.
Anyway see you properly soon. We've just got a championship to wrap up now.0 -

Squeaky bum time over this side after Sundays crap effort."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Spurs have a much harder route to the line than Chelski.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0

Cheers fella.
Boro' ain't Villa. You'll enjoy loads of wins next year if you go down.0 -

Please put into context. You were playing the Cherries, who have a not so marvellous record against you in the Prem......We've played you 4 times and conceded 14 goals.Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0 -
If Cherries manage to stay up, their prospective new recruits are going to make them look like a geriatric side. John Terry and Jermain Defoe. Both will be another year older and both will be that bit more off the pace.
Eddie Howe for all is plaudits has a very poor recruitment record over the last 2-3 seasons... Jordan Ibe (no wonder Liverpool cashed in), Lewis Grabban (adds credence to the saying 'Never Go Back'), Jack Wilshire (on loan, only 2 assists all season and now crocked but still paying £80k per week), Brad Smith (not sure he has even played 1st team), Benik Afobe (good but not that good), Lys Mousset (supposedly the next Riyad Mahrez.. NOT), Glenn Murray (great Champ player but off pace for Prem) and not forgetting the pie eating Lee Tomlin.Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0 -
RIP Ugo Ehiogu
A great player in his day. I remember him having talks with City just before joining Middlesbrough and I was really disappointed when he went to the Northeast instead of Manchester.
44 is too young for anyone to die. A sad loss.Statistically, 6 out of 7 dwarves are not happy.0 -
Yes, agreed, he seems to have been hugely respected in the game.0
