According to the papers the result of the @rse v City game tomorrow will decide Wenger's future...?

I guess all the gooners on here will be praying for a City win then

It shouldn't rely on that. Wenger needs to see that the game has moved on and for the sake of the long term future of the club, it's time to put the Albert Camus and Plato's Republic books on the shelf.

lukaku, the one that got away.........was always perplexed how Chelsea never saw the potential they had. They've so many players on their books out on loan that will never play a match for Chelsea, makes you wonder why they do it (and why a club is allowed to do it)

After his performance today I doubt they'd still be interested - one day an Everton team will turn up to a derby game

If he's made up his mind he wants to go then he's probably not giving it 100%. Mind you, can't say I blame him for wanting to rejoin Chelsea

It's those 3 hour plus rides - I need it. How many fig rolls can you fit in your back pocket? What happens when I get to the cafe and I want a slab of Chocolate cake and a couple of espresso's and i'm full of fig rolls?
Are you not better off using a proper carbohydrate drink then? I like bananas me and the aforementioned fig rolls. One water bottle, one carb bottle, two bananas and fig roofs or flapjacks normally sees me ok for a century ride. Might stop by a stream if it's hot and refill.

I splashed out on a Carbo drink. Flapjacks are definitely the way forward. I used to make them but it's that time thing.

I'm not sure it gets worse than losing at home to that lot having taken the lead.

Anyway, with a bit of luck I'll be able to join in properly next season, even though there'll not be a lot to shout about.

    That's my right.

What is there to talk about? I couldn't give a monkeys about the relegation struggle. Few of the bottom 10 are deserving of staying up. That leaves the dull middle of the table Stoke, WBA bunch. Chelsea should win the league although this is their season's wobble (if you dismiss the early season inconsistencies).
It would take a spectacular crash - bad results against City, Man U and Tottenham for anything to happen and Tottenham would have to keep it lit all the way to the line even if that did happen.

So, barring the improbable, it's boring boring boring at the moment - no fight for the league.

I dunno, the ETDD this afternoon will be a good game. I hope Arsenal win, mainly because I want to see Arsene at Arsenal next season - even if Sanchez is not

Yeah, i'm sure you do. However, if Sanchez leaves, it won't be because any of the 4rse supporters want him to and you aren't personally bank rolling such an acquisition, so therefore, you cannot boast about your good fortune.
It's not your own link to Chelsea that makes these things happen and so making everything personal is a bit disingenuous.

I know Roman is doing the buying and not me.

Here's a song to Arsene from Chelsea :)

So I see that Chelsea supporters are quietly hoping they don't bring in a top manager 'cos that would mean trouble for them.

For me, Pottecino has got to be manager of the year given Spurs' spending power and the fact they are currently above City, Arsenal, Manyoo and the Scousers.
Perhaps he is the guy for Arsenal.

I may be biased as a Spurs fan, but Poch has been brilliant since joining. Completely transformed our style of play, moved out a load of troublemakers, developed a number of young players, all while having pretty much a zero net spend in the transfer market.

He's already said there is zero chance of him ever managing Arsenal or Barca, because of his Tottenham and Espanyol loyalties.

Always quite a relief to win against the small teams after that slip up against Palace last weekend

Yup - we'll take those 3 points especially after Spurs' result.

Nice cushion re-instated at the top again......
