You should tune in to watch it. It will be a nice treat for you to watch some positive attacking football for a change"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Well that's a bit awkward

Poor old Fraudiola. Mind you, I suppose City are quite entertaining as losers go"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

Trump was asked about Boro's 'keeper and that third goal conceded today.

On the plus side, City and Liverpool both dropped points today."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
The City and Liverpool game was a joy to watch. They all lost their heads in front of goal but it was 10 times better than the thuggery and bad attitudes at the Stoke vs Chelski game.
Both games were a reflection of the respective managers.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Not sure what thuggery you are talking about, apart from the Stoke Red card.
As for Arsenal, I can understand why you're a bit tetchy after getting thrashed by West Brom Was that a reflection on the respective managers as well?"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

I'm not tetchy in the slightest. Just resigned to a few years of wilderness and the uncertainty. It would be better if Arsenal slip down to below Europa league and Wenger decides to go. At least there will be no expectations and another season or two of unrealised potential. Arsenal can concentrate on re-building without the distraction of the Europa league. My fear is that Wenger stays and Sanchez will request a transfer. It would be such a shame to loose such a hard working world class player. In a way, I am slightly relieved, this is the beginning of the end of the Wenger era and we can soon start again. The sooner the better. A few more bad results and the 'Wenger out' section of the fans will reach critical mass.
I will add that the board's lack of spending hasn't helped and the wage structure doesn't fit in the modern game and that will have to change in order to attract the big players and a big manager.
The Stoke Chelski game was aggressive, full of dissent and God knows what Costa was mouthing off at the ref about - that deserved a yellow. There's always an edge to Costa, it's never far from the surface. No matter how many goals he scores, he's still a c*nt. The Liverpool game had hardly any dissent in it. It was just pure football (despite the technical/defensive deficiencies).seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Now who's tetchy? The ref was lax at the Stoke game. You cannot deny how physical it was.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Everton to overhaul Arsenal? Last game of the season could be for a placing.0

Not entirely, the Spring Classics are on and the rugby Premiership has kicked back into life as the Six Nations players have returned. Focusing on the round ball for the sake of the thread...Dutch football, my word how has it gone so wrong so quickly. In a WC final not so long ago but have now missed the last Euro's and are completely up against it to make the next WC. How have they suddenly become an utter shower of the brown stuff? Summer tournaments won't seem the same without all those orange shirts in the crowd.0
