Coincidently while we are talking about turncoat MF's........0 -
Well, he did have the vote of confidence so fully expected. Loss of manager, relegation, lose any decent players, back to mediocrity. Lived a dream that many will never have. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -

Eddie Howe next to be handed his P45.Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0

Shocking as it may sound. I think Eddie Howe is going to get the sack on Monday or Tuesday. Over 2 months without a win is not good. And no matter what he has achieved for the Cherries in the past, something has clearly gone wrong over the last few weeks. Time for change. But who?Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0

A Ouija board. Then they can summon the advice of dead managers from the past. It will be cheaper that way and sacking any one of them would just require switching the lights on and blowing the candles out.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0

Maybe controversially I don't actually think Ranieri being sacked is that shocking, in the last 10 games they have picked up 5 points, that is the worst in the league, even hull have picked up 9 and sunderland have got 8. They are now in the bottom 3 and were showing no signs of things changing. It had gotten so bad that people were suggesting that a 2-1 defeat might be a turning point!
I really like Ranieri but i think it would have happened a lot sooner had it not been for last seasonwww.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -
Maybe they haven't got a stitch to wear.0 -
Love the seating policy.

Boro and Hull fans. I'm not on a wind up here, but after the joy of promotion, how frustrating is this season? Hull in particular appear to have made no effort whatsoever to try and stay up, and now Boro look like they have lost their way a bit too.
I want us to go up so that our chairman can enjoy that and get most, if not all of his investment back, but I would not be too upset if we were to fall right back down. From a matchday experience this season, I've mostly travelled home happy having seen a win and I'm not sure sure I'd have a better experience going home having seen a draw or a loss but being able to say "well I got to see X superstar play today".
Its all pretty close at the bottom at pretty predictable at the top. Do you think you will stay up?0 -

If Brighton goes up (which they deserve to), they may well have a similar experience. Like you say, its good to see regular wins rather than getting tonked by the rich and famous - ask a Newcastle fan."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." You'd better win next week!0

I can't speak personally but I know some Norwich season ticket holders at work who genuinely prefer life in the championship as they say you go to into every game with a realistic chance of getting something from it. Strangely enough the season that really scarred them in the PL was with the current Brighton manager in charge, Hughton. He set the team up with exactly the same mentality Boro have now...barely any intention of trying to score and getting the clean sheet or not getting a hiding was the priority. They hated it, one chap gave his season ticket to his Dad vowing not to return until Hughton was gone. It will be interesting to see what his mentality as a manager in that league is this time around.0 -

Despite Gaston's antics in our game last season, I hope you win in a shoot out with Palace. Its gonna be a very nervy game next week.verylonglegs wrote:I can't speak personally but I know some Norwich season ticket holders at work who genuinely prefer life in the championship as they say you go to into every game with a realistic chance of getting something from it. I think there are plenty who are very unhappy that they are not in the PO places at least. They should be higher than they are.
If Hughton were ever to be in that position again, hopefully he will have learned from previous experiences.0 -
Kane on fire again today, two really well taken goals.
Lukaku also tucked his chance away well, to be fair.0 -
