I bought some headphones, not audiophile (I don't have the source or the files) , but good "consumer" ones. That's my weekend sorted, post mini wrangling. We're off to tennis, the caff, then an outdoor play and some pumpkin carving in the afternoon.

All good. See above. Mrs H3 is off to Porto until Wednesday. I'm home alone. Respectable and soberish.

I'm not a northerner. I love mushy peas. Good splash of vinegar.
Coventry = honorary Northern town as it's a bit of an armpit. But not in the Middlesbrough league.

    Or Hartlepool... or Doncaster...

But none of them are as bad as Cumbernauld.

Now I know where Gretna is. A66 + M6 = easy. May need to put some miles on the uberwagon so could kill two birds with one stone - assuming that the sausage eaters pull their finger out and make the bloody thing on time.

Hartlepool is fine but it's only about 20 miles from here. Redcar is way classier as well.

You could get wed on the sly. I'll buy a hat.

Putting yourself forward for best man?
You may reconsider, once you see the bridesmaids.

Reminds me of that Blackadder episode where Baldrick was the bridesmaid.

Would qualify under Stevo's rules to be considered oop north.
Still a st1t hole and mushy peas (or paes, as they are called around these parts) are readily available.
    Chase is nice though.

Not sure I'm brave enough for Stranraer. Suppose I'd better check the tracker is active when I pick the car up.

No, he's being falsely coy - an AMG Merc.
    An autobahn stomper.

Probably does 80 in second. It'll bore the pants off him eventually 'cos any fun is a potential license killer.
