You on the pay-per-view petanque? I only get the low rent matches. Merdeville vs Petitvillage. It's just some drunk old guys fighting.

Try drinking - central heating for adults. Anyway, surely the wife and the MIL out drinking is what you call a win-win situation :)

no pay per view - just bog standard terrestrial. we get about ten channels so brilliant mix of shyte sport, game shows and politics programmes. seems that light entertainment hasn't hit France yet. who knows what they would do if Going For Gold or Eldorado came to France - probably surrender to the Germans again......

Had Sea Bass with a side salad and new potatoes. Sea Bass is a bit over rated IMHO.
Now washing it down with a sparkly Chardonnay. Which is slightly disappointing. A bit too fruity and a bit too medium/sweet.

Feck me! That is scary! Scalloped and sautéed potatoes though. Cook the sea bass skin side down till crispy with minimum oil, season the fleshy side and only turn it for a few seconds. Have with a dry wine, then good whisky.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Noted and I will try that next time. Although I didn't pick the wine and I prefer Trout.

PS - Score the skin prior to cooking so that it doesn't curl.
Apologies if you are a granny wanting to suck eggs.

She must have played a character who wore a lab coat for you to say that.

It's the 'kind' bit I cannot figure. How has he worked that one out?
Or should I say, 'which one of him has worked that one out'?

drew barrymore in a lab coat. nice. not up to TDN standards by a long chalk but better than waking up next to Jo Brand, half a bag of chips and an itchy scrotum.
