Why is the Hammersmith not in Hammersmith but there’s a hospital in Hammersmith that’s not called Hammersmith?

I’ve been working from home less than a week and I nearly forgot what day it was 🤪

Ditto, although the Saturday shoppers are still out in force down at the local supermarket - mission aborted until later on.

I can guarantee that there will be those that I work with WFH this weekend as they have nothing better to do. Those discussions on a Monday equally amuse and confuse me.

This is the right place for this sort of thing.

What meats are you going to cook outside and... why?

Looking to chill out listening to music with a large dram.
Trouble being I tend to go to the same standards.
Looking for suggestions for an album to listen to start to finish that is chill and yet engaging.
The usual standards range from Miles Davis,Kind of Blue to Portishead, Dummy.

Good hour, well spent. Only the 3 two fingered whiskies. 🤟
Must watch Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas again soon.

    St. Germain bookmarked. 😉

Just working my way through some old punk rock stuff on YouTube while enjoying a good vintage cider.

Much appreciated as it put me to the Soel album. Bliss!

Tonights listening will be Mark Hollis/Talk Talk. Died following a short illness from which he never recovered at the end of February. Hmmmm.

Oops! The shame. 🤬 The impact of radio stations using repeats.
Still, good listening in any case.

Not sure what's worse, not opening a second bottle of wine or posting about going to bed at 9.30. Scotland has gone soft...

Maybe not and that’s why they have gone to bed early, but doubtful

Watched Motherless Brooklyn and polished off 2/3 a bottle of Glenmorangie.
Quite frankly life is good right now.
    Acknowledgement, for some.
