Can we go somewhere that doesn't have mice running under the table this time?

But that place is quite quiet!

Porterhouse on Maiden Lane? Or is that too close to Covent Garden for people's comfort?

Have you ever tried holding a conversation in the Porterhouse?

Ditto, 18th preferred over 12th, but can also do both.

That close the Christmas it will be hard to hold a conversation anywhere.

    Anyone got any other ideas?

Do we want to zero in on a part of town?

Is there an art gallery or museum with a late bar. Add a bit of culture to the proceedings!

I've got a couple of London visits to schedule in before Christmas, I'll see about the 18th. Can't do 12th, will be in Edinburgh.

I'd have my hard hat and PPE, probably handy for the doping chat :D

Right. Let's lock in the 18th then. At The Dovetail in Clerkenwell... 6ish onwards?

Hope to see all of you there!

You’ll be sad to hear I can’t make 18th as have Captain Small then. Enjoy.

That's possibly my favourite place for a drink in London. Sadly I'm working from home on Monday. If I change plans I might swing by though.
