I'm sure your driving is exemplary Greg, but it's all the road tax-dodging, driving 3-abreast, RLJ-ing 4x4 drivers that give the rest of you a bad name.

I'm hoping the OP is going to come back to tell us that on the commute this morning there was one of those 'accident here, please help' signs that the police put out.

We need to be reassured that the police take these matters seriously so that all us pussy lovers can sleep easy at night knowing that the bounder who dispatched this moggy to pussy heaven is being properly dealt with

Yip, it's all sorted. I called in a favour and the 4x4 driver is currently in the cells before he goes up infront of the magistrate.

To ensure the cat lovers are kept happy, the cops put some drugs and a loaded handgun in his pocket and said there was several small children tied up in his boot.

I tell you, he wont be running over cats for at least 6 months.

That's good, I'm glad that the perpetrator of this most heinous crime will be properly dealt with so that the pussies of Putney are safe to roam the streets once more

As an aside, would you be able to 'call in a favour' and deal with someone else for us

Bit harsh - speaking as someone with what has become a small fleet of 4wd cars.

We're not all assholes behind the wheel, you know.

The anecdotal evidence I have of 4x4 drivers in south west London is that most of them are assholes behind the wheel.

The driver that hit the cat was blameless though, in my opinion.

Were they still an asshole though because of the vehicle they were in?

This is a democracy, and we are entitled to hear your opinion. No, hang on, I meant to say, you are entitled to hear my opinion. No, that's still wrong, I meant to say that I am entitled to be offended on behalf of someone I've never met and have you arrested for sharing an opinion online.

  • Did you eat it...?

I mean, it'd be daft to eat a cat that died (especially roadkill cat), but rabbit is edible.
