    I did think that.

the 150mm sektors felt long on my cove and the frame was designed for them to fit

It's currently in pieces waiting to send the frame back as it had a faulty seat tube :(

I shall post some pics once i've got the replacement frame and it's all built up :) Should hopefully be having it's first proper run next Wednesday :D

  • My NS Surge 2008:

(Still have the frame sat in the garage; probably will never be rebuilt!)

Then I bought a more XC suited frame and XT groupset because the Surge wasn't well suited to the flat Cambridgeshire XC riding:

Then I got some new wheels more suited to the 456:

But still didn't get on with the bike that well, So I sold off the frame / forks & wheels, bought a load of new bits and built this (which going by the rules of this thread shouldn't really be posted here as it's 120mm):

Nice! What size is the surge frame?
  • Nice! What size is the surge frame?

It's the 2008 frame where they only came in one size and a choice of three colours: Yellow, Black or White.... If I remember right, it was 2009 onwards they decided to make it available in two sizes.

Here's the specs for the 08 frame:

My Cotic BFe shortly after I finished it, prior to cutting the brake hoses down. Took it out for it's first proper ride at the weekend but forgot to take any pictures... might have been too busy enjoying it :D

    this would qualify i think

i absolutely hate it. but it wears the spare parts from my shed and allows me to ride around camp whilst not wearing out my proper bikes.
