Do we think Sky are "keeping safe" or pulling as it were...?

    Ok, more on yesterday's discussion:

Road Captain determines tactics when race underway each day etc.
Team Captain (no.1 in each) therefore does what?

Given that I've seen the lesser spotted David Lopez on the front of the peloton I don't think they are pushing too hard

Just turned on the TV. I see David Lopez has re-appeared. I was worried Sky had left him in a service station car park somewhere in Brittany.

And Stephen Roche, he is a miserable beggar. I'm not a fan of Voeckler's theatrics really either but to call him unprofessional, lighten up Stephen, takes all sorts.

So if a guy is good enough to be road captain, why isn't he team captain?

I think we need to take Stephen Roche's view of what is and isn't "professional" with a pinch of salt.

So thats the reason he is riding at the back of the breakaway!

Isn't it more about authority, influence and tactical awareness?

He's the Franco Baresi to the team leader's Marco van Basten.

    That's likely why, yes.

Gap out to almost 6 minutes, much more and Talansky will be closing in on White - might prompt OPQS/Movi to do the donkey work instead of Sky?

Just had a reminder that Gilbert actually is in this race, which lead me to think how poor it is that we haven't had one uphill finish. You know - a proper one.

Roger that! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to be annoyed by this advert. I thought Dassault made fighter planes, I don't know what the hell they think they are doing towing icebergs around the bloody place. Fook off.
