    Greetings, just got in.

Question: in my cycling magazine, TdF special, it says Rabobank's team was renamed Blanco.
    S'not. It's Belkin.
    So what's that about, please?

Rabobank pulled their name after doping scandal but honoured their contract so team named Blanco. New sponsor comes along for TdF onwards in the form of Belkin

Rabbobank left "becasue of the doping in cycling" (and had nothing to do with their sponsorship of a whole load of other new stuff) but were contracted to sponsor the team for 2013. Therefore the team rode as Blanco until they found a new sponsor in Belkin

Edit - well i was way too late then....

    @Lichtblick

Rabobank wanted to withdraw themselves from the dirtiness of pro cycling and focus on Rugby.

They were contracted to sponsor the team until the end of this season.

    Team name changed to Blanco.

Belkin were brought in last month as new title sponsor.

    Hence the name belkin

They were called Blanco until they got a new sponsor as Rabobank didn't want their name on the jersey.

    ok, thanks!
That's the problem with magazines going to press so early: it has a Wiggin/Froome battle as lead story.

After Rabo pulled their sponsorship they set up as Blanco whilst seeking a sponsor. Then found one in Belkin

Next question (if you want something answered, ask here)

This Mollema, is he likely to stay at 2nd? I regret to have to say that I've not heard of him before.

Depends how good the Belkin boys are in the mountains really. They seem pretty tidy but are they capable of nullifying any attacks that are bound to come? Or even attack on their own back?

Kelly, speaking earlier in commentary, thought it was possible as he seemed to think the third week of a GT wouldn't be too daunting for him. I suppose it'll come down to how activate the race is at the front in the third week.

On the first post of the echelon thread I posted a couple of links which explain it.

Is Evans really that old?? He got 3rd in the Giro (not bad for him) and has got knackered legs. I think Cav had left his legs in the Dolomites too; he's not old? Kirby has got a thing about this. EEEJIT that he is!
I guess Van Garderen is old too?? Duh!

More tired than if he hadn't tried but he'll sit on and conserve energy and if the break make it at least he'll be in with a shot of the win.

I believe you may have have the wrong thread. Pr1ck size is discussed more openly in The Clinic.
