The Tour - stage 13 *spoiler*

Real-time speed data from the different groups would be good info on stages like this. Movi TTT looks toast....a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0
-
This probably isn't good for the racing tomorrow and Sunday... Movistar burning a lot of energy.0
-
Why would any other team help OPQ to set the pace? I'd have thought they'd let them do all the work and tire themselves out.0
-
Ignore me, considering it's a straight rode the wind is now left to right according to the flags.0
-
2nd group must be closer to Valverde than he is to 1st group by now0
-
Has Alejandro been to the same clinic as Rooney, Gooch, Warne and co?

Time's up! They're out of gas.
He's doomed. Could lose minutes today unless he can get help from Kittel's group.0 -

Belkin for the GC I think?0 -

What is the protocol here? last year Sky held up the peleton when there were tacks on the road so the GC wasn't affected but this is a stage for the sprinters so should their teams wait or not?0

My slightly cynical take would be Movistar reaping what they've sown in the past@shraap | My Men 2016: G, Yogi, Cav, Boonen, Degenkolb, Martin, J-Rod, Kudus, Chaves0 -

Belkin are Dutch, they were born to push the pace on and form an echelon. That and they want to gain some time for Mollema over Valverde.0 -

13? Maybe that's the 13 on a 13-29 cassette of a sportive rider.0 -
Its called "yellow lid karma" .... the karma that gets you for wearing atrocious helmets..

Europcar rider on the front now! Why?0
-
I don't suppose that'll stop Valverde from having a bit of a moan about Belkin tonight though...0
-
Movistar group now joined the chasing teams at 65s behind. Still Belkin and OPQS. Setting the pace. No sign of Sky doing anything at the mo.0

Ah I see. Thanks.
Since I've only just got in, why are there two distinct groups?0 -

Tacks on the road were causing a danger for everyone. A puncture when a group is just dawdling and someone attacks is a no no. But this was already a racing situation, Valverde got a puncture at the wrong time, no one has cranked up the pace since then, Belkin are just helping OPQS to maintain the pace for their advantage.0 -

now why don't some team cars move up to protect/supply mechanics to the front group if necessary?0
