Am off for a SWIM tomo. as these marginal gains by Sky's SWIMMING coach is paying off even for the likes of that mountain goat Kennaugh & Co.

I'm staying off the Internet for the rest of July. It's like a time warp back 12 months - man wins race, mention USPS at every opportunity. People will no doubt be moaning about the boring Sky train shortly  #panache # true champion #stilldontlikehim.

    Wish Quintana had won :(

Great ride by Froome & Porte. Bit of a shame for GC but he's been waiting a year to do that. Very impressive.

I had no idea that Porte had made enough marginal gains to utterly devastate the entire peloton, including all the pre-race favourites.

Ah Kwiatkowski comes in head of Schleck. 3 mins down. Does he keep the young riders jersey? How old is Quintana?

  • Massive stage tomorrow. Sky cant dish it out like this again.

Froome takes more than a minute out of all the opposition on the first mountain stage. Very impressive stuff from Sky.

Err the fact that he was one of the pre-race favourites pass you by did it?

Sometimes I wonder how much all the finger pointing has to do with complete lack of knowledge.

Have you followed any of the racing so far this year?

Seeing them within 1.30 of Froome suggests all the people going apoplectic up thread are off the mark, they probably need to be asking why some people look a shadow of their old selves (Evans excepted, he's just too old and got the Giro in his legs).

To be fair. most of us have watched over 20 - 30 tours and some of our heroes are not very truthfull heroes and the sport is surrounded by cynicism. so watching a team with 5-6 guys on the front rewind banesto. Telekom. US Postal.
