Fret not ... There is a way of not having to read FF's posts, even when they are re-quoted ...

According to Ned the gantry gets lowered after all the team vehicles go through but they let the OGE bus through after it had been lowered!

So its not really the bus drivers fault if they allowed him passage through.....as for ASO they could have stopped the race for 10 mins at 15kms as they would have to had there been a train coming....shambles organisation for the worlds biggest bike race and nobody thought of it.

But why was the OGE bus so late? Crossing the line 15 mins before the bunch? Crazy!

New time limit for busses etc will be introduced after this

Valid point. Will be interesting to see what happens there.

I want one. I have an uncle who makes these kind of crazy things. "We're taking the plane out with the floats today." "Oh great!" A few hours later somewhere in Hobbitland. "This looks like a nice spot and there's a cafe, I fancy a cappuccino, we can land on the lake." "When did you test these Uncle?" "I haven't."

    True story.

    NEWS JUST IN:

    George Michael driving OPQS bus.

What a disaster and that's just my Fantasy teams, bonus stage gone and all the sprinters except Kittel not scoring. Aaaagh.

The next few hours will determine transfers.

And Cav...needed to win this one in my book to have a chance of the Green Jersey against Sagan.

As I said they really should have just slowed the peloton down behind the President's motorbike guard fellas and then had a rolling restart like in motor racing. They wouldn't even have had to make them stop. If it was taking a while to free the bus, they could have had them go around a roundabout, back up the road to another roundabout and back again, which would have been possible if they'd decreased the pace to 20k.

Did Tony Martin get back on his bike and finish the stage, only to discover a broken collarbone on the team bus?

There is a man dressed as a penis outside. It's like the Tour's come to Amsterdam.

Could this day get any more bizarre? :? :?

I have replayed the crash in slo mo on HD telly, and if I have identified Berto correctly then he clattered down spectacularly, so, without fuelling a rumour, I would not be surprised.

The Houfillaze 4X is pretty fun, the switchbacks on the XCO course a mental steep too

So, did I miss anything on the tour today?

For getting positioning so wrong in a situation where he could have had a great shot for the stage... and then touching wheels at the back of the group...

So for being human in other words. OK, glad that's clear.

I admit to taking Bus Growth Hormones(BGH), but I only did it to keep up with the others. As @lancearmstrong says, you can't win w/o doping.
