    What a completely random finish! Cavendish must be spitting feathers, he won't be wearing the Maillot Jaune this year. I've never seen a bus get stuck under the finish sign before either! :shock:

    Could they not have made the riders slow up behind some Gendarmerie and then have a rolling restart rather than this nonsense?

    Great sprint by Kittell but such a shame it wasn't with all the best sprinters.

    Contador looked uncomfortable crossing the line there.

    Could've had a nice prologue, see each rider, set some order to the race, few time gaps between challengers.

    I think that whole "finish at 3km", "no wait, original finish" thing was utterly ridiculous.

    This. Having riders sit up for 10 mins would have solved the whole shambles.
    You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
    If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
    If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

    Did all the buses have to pass under that finish bridge? Surely ASO should know how tall the buses are and make it high enough? Some people are going to get a right old rollicking this evening.
