Experience of Wyndy Milla Anyone??

  • Right well when we get these we have to get all over the "show us your bike pages".

Are you just going Frame & Forks or a complete bike?

I really really want (note want not need) Di2 (Dura Ace 9070) but not sure I can get away with it...

Up in the cockpit I am sorely tempted to go 3T Integra to hide away some more cabling...

Just frame and forks. Taking the DA7900 and Ritchey WCS cockpit off one of my Foils and probably end up selling the frameset.

I'd love to go DA9000, but Reynolds have told me that there is no way to change the freehub on the RZR to accommodate :(

Nope. Got the first draft of the graphics from their designer today. He's calling me today to discuss the revisions I want to make. :)

If you did go Green, you'd have to join the other club in Cardiff ;)

  • And I have to wait till your design is finalised until they can start on mine!

All sized, options, fit done now I guess it's a waiting/designing game!

Can't wait to see the first draught!

    Design back for third revision...

Which frame did you go with and what design do you have planned for yours?

  • I have gone for the Massive attack - but I have made some "customisations" to how it will look - nothing drastic altering the look of the bike, but with full internal (Di2) cabling and the rear brake is being moved to below the BB.

Design wise, nothing as edgy as yours - I am going for a "Bright" option in three colours (cant decide on how Flouro/bright to go) but Blue, yellow and carbon will feature highly - as will some custom WyndyMilla decals.

I have a picture in my head - just hope it turns out sort of like i am imagining it.

3rd round hey.... Literally i cant wait to see it.

  • I don't blame you - they had best hurry up though...

When you think you will take ownership?

Should have it in a couple weeks depending on the paint shop.

The Captain America one was awesome, but a bit too cliche for a Yank like me :P

They're painting it next week! I thought I'd be generous and give a tease of the frame design. :)

  • I am going to have to try really hard not to be jealous...

Cant wait to see the finished article (and get the design back for mine!)
  • Any news on your bike grill?

Was half expecting to see it up on the "your bikes" section by now!

Should be ready beginning of next week. Ooey is pretty backed up and there are a few layers to do...

How is your frame design coming on? Did you go for alternating flat colours to set it off?

  • Nothing new as yet... David is on Holiday this week so i dont expect it to be until next week to be fair.

I changed the idea on the scheme somewhat and also asked for the outline files so I can mess about myself.

By far the hardest thing about the bike - it was even easier to get permission from the missus!

Good news is that the frame is being built and they have confirmed my customisations are doable - so be prepared for some minor changes to the standard design.

Looks the business. Interested to see what parts you use for the final build.
  • personally i Like it - you are not going to see another one of those at any events, ever.

Now hopefully ill get my design back at some point as the frame is in the country and HOPEFULLY will be with me week of the 12th August...

I reckon most mWyndyMilla frames are marmite anyway - I believe it is good to stand out!
