    To be fair, it's been beyond expectations for Evans given his late call-up. Great performance, just unsustainable. Bodes well for July.

    True. People forget he's changed his training plan at a late stage and added the Giro.

    NB i think Nibali has rocked this tour, surviving and looking strong throughout when others haven'tand then succumbed to the weather and colds.

    no, but irrespective of result difficult to see how Wiggins would have taken much time out of him as many predicted
