According to Strava, 188,271 feet over 7301 miles. Quite happy with that.
  • Eightyfive thousand feet so far, slacked off recently….and was on the turbo until mid March.

80 thousand feet so far this year. Ahead of mileage target too so far, not so bad after a months light cycling ... need to step it up now though.

Ignoring the training rides which I don't save

2300 miles with 91,000 ft gained.
3700Km with 28,000m (don't ask me for the change, though online conversion would have been quicker)

Probably wanted more climbing in on my bigger rides but seem to have ended up with distance. Oh well I've enjoyed the majority of those miles

    5200km and 53 000m up. **

It's the 1% rule round here; every ride is nearly always 1% up on average.

**3250 miles and 175 000 feet in old money.

Quite proud secretly. In August I was nearly 18st. Started riding a road bike mid January. Now 12.5st. 200 miles a week for the last 4 weeks. Even got the tan lines.

Not where I wanted to be, but I have a lot of sportives this year, next one on Saturday so this will soon start to increase quite quickly :)

I thought I was doing okay to be honest; I'm sure it's my best mileage yet at this time of year. Compared to some of you lot though I look like an old lady popping to the shops on her townie.

A mile is the unit of currency used on signposts in the UK; 5280 feet make up a mile.

Strava says that I have ridden 1914 miles and climbed 231,076 feet in 2014. However, I didn't record some of my winter riding on my Garmin, so a bit more in reality.

17078 m in 1942 km (but that includes some off road riding shhh!) or 56,030 feet in 1206 miles.

I have been targetting hills this year; want to ride a mountain in Italy in the summer that beat me last time (2200m+) and get in the gold standard on the Legs of Steel which I missed by 10 mins last year. Been doing some hill repeats and always climb the Downs once when out on any ride.

I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.
