Need to re-read everyone's posts to see if that is any good!

Now up to 278,150 feet in 4282 miles.

65 feet climbed per mile. Mind you, comparing a friends ride with my same ride on Strava, his came out at 6500 ft and mine 5500 ft so there is a margin of error in there somewhere!

Annoyingly though I've broken my wrist so won't be on the bike for at least a month! Have been told up to 6 weeks. Bit of a bummer as the weather is looking brilliant for this week and no doubt for the next month.

  • Since last update I've done some very hilly rides (110ft/mile) but last weekend I did my first ever 100 which only had 40ft/mile so my average had dipped a bit

Started cycling in Feb. YTD = 699 miles and only 12,497ft of ascent. I live in Essex - we don't do hills. ;)

Just taking my Stava numbers YTD, although it tends to under report elevation gains versus my Garmin...

Not bad for a 35mile long rock in the middle of the Irish sea :D

    Zombie thread!
Updating because I passed the 100,000m elevation milestone this weekend (first time I've done that) :D
I've now reached outer space

^that is some hilly riding (not surprising for your location) - good work.

I end the year somewhere around 114000m of ascent in 14500km.

It's actually quite a bit more, but had a few hundred miles worth of rides where my Garmin crapped out.
