If we're going to do the whole feet thing - 95000 so far this year. I've actually been aiming to keep the climbing down at the start of this year - my knee got busted up in a fall, so haven't wanted to put too much strain on it until now.
May should be a hilly month though - I have 2 big rides planned and between them, they will have another 47000 foot of climbing.0 -
YTD 36,850ft over 595 miles. Quite fancy a flat route for a change.0

In 1703 miles.
Not a huge amount of miles, and not a huge amount of climbing in those miles!0 -
Height climbed tends to be a fairly fixed proportion of your accumulated mileage so this figure really just reflects how hilly or otherwise the country you cycle in is. It will only vary much if you cycle in lots of different places frequently. This is why I stopped paying much attention to it.
Still, I'm on 193,000 feet over 2779 miles for 2013 so far.Faster than a tent.......0 -

It's all relative though isn't it.
I'm at 58,054ft in 1,398.1mi so far this year....
.....compared with about 50 miles and a couple of hundred feet of up this time last year! * So for me that is an amazingly large number.
*guessing - i hadn't heard of strava then0 -
