225000ft off 6000 miles now. Would be closer to 3k but had to do a lot of turbo due to injury

Two or three really big climbing rides and you'll hit 1m. That. Would. Be. Cool. 8)

Coincidence, almost precisely same as mine.

    226197 feet and 5980 miles.

I should do more considering where I live but I tend to wimp out and choose comfy rolling routes rather the outright hilly ones. The keen ones round here are doing 100ft a mile consistently. I need to MTFU as I'm doing the dartmoor classic next year and the local sportives are eye wateringly hilly...

Blimey! When do you get to do that? And where?

    165,000m
    Just under 13,000km
  • May not have the biggest total but ascent per mile ratio is what counts!

    499,436 ft
    5119 miles

    or in metric

I live in the North Cotswolds and do most of my hilly miles between Broadway, Cheltenham and Stroud. Although the climbs aren't epically long, it's hard to go any distance around here without encountering some very steep gradients. The elevation gains stack up quickly - 20k ft in an average week of riding.

    120 miles to go!
  • Started cycling in July, so just under 6 months
    2,000 miles
    80,000 feet
    165 hours

Next years plan is 5,000 miles, 250,000 feet, 375 hours.
More mileage, more feet, faster speed.

    It's a plan anyway. :D

Totally old school and don't use a computer or Strava despite having them. Done a lot of miles and climbing this year as I have went through 4 back tyres and 3 chains on my summer bike. Some weeks I was clocking up 500miles spread over 4 routes and each route was a sportive I had done before and just doing the route on my own or blending routes together.

52392ft in 1778 miles but that includes quite a few turbo rides (because I can't be arsed to filter which rides to load up) Surprisingly my turbo rides sometimes register a climb of around 7ft - 10ft so not sure how accurate my Garmin is for recording climbs

    I'm 3033ft below where I started :?

    Elevation Gain: 76,501 m
    Elevation Loss: 79,534 m
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

I think a little recalculation may be in order... or fix the typo :D
