I'm from Preston and tend to ride towards Fylde if I fancy a flat one, or over to Beacon Fell, Trough of Bowland or Jeffery Hill for hilly ones.
+1 for Scorton Barn0 -

That's the reason why I went up on Friday on my day off instead of Sunday. I didn't think I could face being overtaken time and time again.Commute: Chadderton - Sportcity0 -

I ride mainly through Ribble Valley, Bowland, North Lancs, Preston and the green bits between Chorley and Blackburn that has no real name (South Ribble??).
Roads mainly consist of potholes and grit.... and that just the A Roads But the countryside ...

Born in Oldham and cycled regularly around Royton, Oldham, Rochdale, Shaw and Saddleworth and also commuted to my Saturday job at Blacks on Deansgate up to going to Uni in 1996.
Now when I go back to visit family and friends, I look at the state of the tarmac and think "Thank fook I don't have to ride on them roads!"0 -
Hi All!
I live in Boothstown (NW MCR) and manage to get quiet a bit of diversity due to working away (Cambridge), finding sportives and having a relative in Accrington. My main routes are around Culceth, Irlam, Trafford and the occasional trip to Dunham.
I've done the MCR to Blackpool, MCR100 & Bolton Bash this year, hoping to do these, a C2C and maybe a few more next year too.
Luckily I have a few friends and relatives to ride with, although I'm 39 I've only taken to cycling in the last year and wished I had taken it up earlier in life.
When I can't get out due to weather I have really good spinning bike and vary from interval training to hill work and try to get somewhere between 10-30 miles a day in if I can work permitting (seems to be helping)
I've enjoyed looking at some of the Strava links posted, I'll post a link to mine shortly.Cipollini Bond

Live in Atherton, near Westhoughton.
Cycle around Rivington, Chorely, Horwich, Culceth, up and over Winter Hill. Took advantage of the nice afternoon sun (albeit windy) and rode up to the top of Winter Hill today:
Although next time I'll make sure my bike is in the pic, as it looks like I've driven up there lol0 -
Warrington - Padgate here, been cycling about 18 months now. Usually ride out toward Froddy hill and Delamere for Shorter rides, and out toward Buxton and the Peak for longer rides.
looking forward to the summer and venturing further afield this year from Warrington.0 -

Ride Oldham/Rochdale at the moment, building up after a lazy year.
I'm in Littleborough, riding around Todmorden/Hebden/Blackstone Edge as well as the Rochdale side on the odd occasion.Advocate of disc brakes.0
