They'd look ridiculous with lime green warmers... or blue warmers.. or white warmers -> so what other options do they have apart from black?
Why would matching colours look ridiculous? :?
Cannondale are looking for a co-sponsor so creating a whole load of co-ordinated kit wouldn't be the smartest idea for such a low budgeted team ...
Can they really not afford armwarmers where the full sponsor logo is visible?

 fair point. I think you could find examples of non-black legs that look a bit better than that though! Refer back to FDJ.

    V-F arms are spot on.

V-F matching arm and legs would be perfect winter riding/commuting wear. should reduce the chance of being hit by anything other than the fashion police a fair bit.

full lightblue astana winter kit looks ridiculous. white or black arm and leg warmers would look better

Agree re having the same colour arm warmers - it is just like a long sleeved jersey and how the black looks cheaper. Black leg warmers are just fine. Full white or other bright colours are awful.

 Without a doubt, the most shocking image I've ever seen on here. Poor guy must have lost a big bet.

It's safe to fire up Eurosport. Cobbled bike race on. Low risk of snooker sighting. Looks like all together, if strung out on cobbled bits, 58km remaining.

    Oi! Get off the pavement.

Meanwhile, Peloton reminiscing about last night in the 'coffee' shop, demonstrably intensely relaxed about the three monkeys 2+ mins up the road. 40kms or so to the finish.

Cav vs Greipel vs Ferrari coming up. Rumoured that Sagan will be saving his legs for Sunday.

For Sagan "saving his legs" could mean he'll still win, but not by too much and he'll skip the wheelie over the line :D

    how far to finish?
  • 30km, lead at 1 minute 15
  • Now 27km, 1' 20'' lead. Orica leading the main group but it's not strung out.
