Anyone think Boonen could be slipping under the radar for this one?

    No.

If it's a strong headwind he might, and it's a big might, be in the front group / peloton when they hit 1km to go. That's abouf it.

If Cav is in the group with Boonen I wouldn't be surprised to see him work for Cav post Poggio.

Strong words from you Rick!! :P

Cant remember the last time I was this disappointed by a sporting event...

One of you avatar ilk - my beautiful little Guinea pig Mabel just passed away - so I've got that as well as the rugby to contend with. I too could do with someone deserving and magnificent winning tomorrow...

Sounds like Nibali would fit that position. sorry, just dreaming of the old days, Laurent Fignon or Sean Kelly maybe.
I wouldn't like to be traveling the M4 tonight.

Never feels like Vince has the firepower to distance his rivals on the climbs or beat them in the finale... Not only that, he's got lady's legs (he might - one day - be allowed to win an Italian classic in such a condition; but all Northen classics are off limits... It's a UCI bye-rule that was actually drafted before the invention of the bicycle).
