Can WADA unilaterally declare the UCI to be non-compliant with the code (as well as being lying b'$tard$), forcing automatic expulsion from the Olympics?...a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0

I think they'd have a hard time making that one stick.
Unless the UCI did run a T+R and then they'd be non-compliant.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -

Dont know what his intent is with this epistle. Maybe got wind that Pound and/Fahey are muttering 'Cycling out of the Olympics, fellas?' around the IOC? Tell you what though, Pound first and then Fahey are bound to have made a few enemies amongst the IOC committee members over the years, and Verbruggen will have a few cronies there.0 -
From Fahey to McQuaid on how to pay for the TRC:
"In subsequent discussion you canvassed some financial support from the IOC and I told you that was your problem, or rather that of your sport, and in my view you had one last shot at salvaging it. I suggested you might have to consider raising money by way of mortgage on the extensive property in Aigle with some Swiss Bank if necessary. You agreed WADA should not pay."
Brilliant..

EDIT:
and McQuaids response:
"However, I should stress that, while I am committed to a TRC, it absolutely needs to be a process which is in the best interests of cycling and our federation - and also a process which does not bankrupt it. To that point, your suggestion that the UCI should mortgage its headquarters in Aigle is somewhat facetious and unhelpful."
Actually I strongly disagree that the TRC should have the best interests of the federation in mind.0 -
