"Team Sky principal Sir Dave Brailsford talks to BBC sports editor David Bond about the "horrible" decision he had to make to exclude Sir Bradley Wiggins from the Tour De France team.
Brailsford admits he was "kept awake at night" by the difficult decision, but says he feels confident he has made the right choice."

Let's be serious here, Christopher.0 -
Froome today. What an awful helmet.
26 degrees in London. Contador wrapped up like it's late Autumn...with kit that looks like it has faded in the wash!
Frank's kit:
Contador is the Greatest0 -
In seriousness, why is everyone wearing LS? I popped out for lunch today and practically melted. Plus LS kit is less comfy (for me, at least). I much prefer SS if possible.0
-
Contador has LS, Gilet, fullfinger gloves, legwarmers, overshoes and probably a LS thermal base layer. WTF. Must be the North.Contador is the Greatest0
-
The North, yes, but not bloody Siberia. They were wearing less going over snowy passes during the Giro!0
-
Part of the metier isn't it? Pros always wear long sleeve jerseys and leg warmers when training, even if it's baking hot.0

lol... playing it safe and doesn't want to catch a chill... fear of colpo d’aria0 -
"Following the recent launch of their new Tarmac, Specialized have this week released the S-Works McLaren version of the bike, and Nicholas Roche will be riding it at the Tour de France. He’s the only rider on the Tinkoff-Saxo team lucky enough to be picked to ride the new bike."

It does look good, paying through the neck for it but I guess exclusivity costs. I like the idea of cutting edge tech companies working with bike designers/manufactures to push things forward.0 -

Was it "How you planning to skittel Herr Kittel?"...a rare 100% loyal Pro Race poster. A poster boy for the community.0 -

That Kask lid looks very Formula 1. No doubt function over form but it's still awful.Life is unfair, kill yourself or get over it.0

The Tinkoff gear looked crap before; what's with this predilection to make shorts look like they've got some sort of sumo nappy over them. Tinkoff aren't unique in this regard I hasten to add
You couldn't pay me to wear gear like that0 -

The black nappy is essential so meat and two veg are not so obvious in photos!0 -

Froome quoted in the Evening Standard talking about potentially becoming the first clean rider to defend the TdF title for almost 20 years:
"The last rider to do it without any question marks over them was Miguel Indurain in 1995."

I've worked out what's bugging me - the black patches make them look like those cut outs at the seaside you get kids to stick their heads through...0 -
So what's happening today for the Teams? Training? Anything on TV later?0

Get out there you northern monkeys and start stalking!0
