There seem to be quite a few "urban" fixies in "interesting" colours, such as this one in orange.

Depending on which bit of London you go to, they're all over the place. Camden and Southwark being particularly full of hipster-wannabe-courier-coffee-shop-layabouts with fixies.

My previous employer has an office in Southwark next to an ITV studio, and some odd hip street market thing. Wandering back to Blackfriars I once witnessed the oddest combo of 70s steel frame, flat bars, yellow 90s four spoke aero front, 80s gazillion spoke rear, topped off with a Brooks saddle with springs. Fixed gear. One brake. one toeclip. In biege, of all colours. Final touch being numerous playing cards in the rear spokes of differing designs and sizes.0 -
