if it makes you feel any better, i'd arranged post club ride village blokes beer evening, only to find out that both the club ride and evening of beers is out the window because she's got her works dinner.

Do I have to ride it before I can moan about it? Going all that way to fall off on a bit of greasy blue tarmac seem a tad excessive. Nah, no need to actually ride across it. It's reputation precedes it anyway. Feel free to join in the general complaining anyway
After a few "craft" beers we'll probably end up heading home that way, try to start a fight with it, then ending up legging it & spilling spicy kebab sauce all over the blue paint when plod arrives. Come to think of it, that may explain it.........CS7
