Almost plausible :D But clear who it was aimed at....

Anyway, I mainly drive a Kia Picanto. It has three cylinders. Three. And does 0-60 in about 15 seconds.
My favourite "wind up the plonker in the arsemobile" game* is to continue at 50 all the way along the lanes on the way to work - actually a pretty respectable speed for the road - but then just not slow down for the handful of quite vicious bends. A few times I've seen them fail to spot the bend and perform the panicky brake, wobble and drop back manoeuvre.

    *Apart from this thread, obvs.

If people don't like the idea of anyone having a nice car they can bog off out of this thread, go on the other thread and moan about how much it annoys them :)

I love the idea of people buying nice new cars!

Since I have investments in both the automotive and financial services industry what is not to like? People buy new cars on loan - perfect.

From the automotive perspective it's important the punters embrace the new tech, too. For too long the concept of the car has been fossilised and not just because of the fuel it uses but also by the excessive conservatism in which it has been pickled. It's good to see that GM has taken that on board although Trump doesn't like it too much. There's no doubt the Chinese will be taking the driving seat if given half a chance.

Yes they are -- no multi speed gearbox -- no clutch -- 0 to 60 in a G suit worthy 2.5 sec from a 4 door saloon. No power zapping gearbox to worry about and when the new batteries start arriving the i c engine is finished.

Unable to sort out switching my daughter's mobile to a SIM only plan online we had to call BT (which I thought would make it into the other thread). However, the call resulted in her contract dropping from £17 to £10 with a data allowance increase from 500mb to 10gb, 12 months free BT Sport via the phone app and upgrading to a new Broadband deal that includes an improved Smart Hub plus the WiFi discs to extend the signal around the house with a money back guarantee when speeds are below those quoted which is great as I work from home quite a lot and sometimes have WiFi dropout in the office. The deal also doubled the data allowance in our mobile phone contracts all for no increase in the price. So an overall cost saving of £7 for a hopefully greatly improved service.

Oh, and I picked up Eurosport Player for £20 for the year at the weekend as well having been without the channel for 2 years.

That's a result Pross -- if she's very young get the Google family link app for internet safety -- gives you control ( via your phone ) over what she downloads / watches on her phone --

Getting a sensible response letter from my MP after her initial reply to the current CyclingUK campaign on Road Justice was nothing more than a standard wording cut and paste, here's what the Gummint are investing in cycling and walking, totally ignoring the issue raised, that of getting the Gummint to deliver on their promised full review of road traffic offences and not just be Daily Heil stylee 'clamping down on dangerous cyclists'.

Course a single letter means more or less F all, but at least she's listened and taken some action as a result. Minor things can cheer one up.

My brother lived in New York for five years or so in the nineties, he managed to secure tickets for me and him and a mate for a Jets vs Patriots match, I’ve never walked past so many people holding up signs for any spare tickets, I genuinely don’t think I’d be lying if I said that there was comfortably over a thousand of them!
