to carry on the motoring theme, the MFs have recently been cutting around in one of those massive 8 wheeled army truck things.

why do people in normal cars think it is a good idea to try and cut them up? surely they must realise that some 8 times bigger and heavier than them isn't going to even notice them as it drives over them?

I thought all you MF's had retired ? That didn't come out the way I meant it to.

unfortunately not :) still plodding away with a grumble and a moan but some things that could be very interesting have been dangled in front of us but its offset by so much internal politics going on that it saps all joy/motivation.

potentially could transfer to something very interesting but that would involve messing la famiglia around so not too likely unless current place continues to go downhill....
still maintaining sunny disposition though as life is too short to be a miserable git or a Trumptard.

Someone walks past you at a slightly faster pace and you catch yourself pulling in behind them.
    Made me smile anyway.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

It's a good job you didn't clip their heels or you would have ended up on the deck waiting for the medic/neutral service.

  • Reggae music on the BBC! A TV programme that I've just finished watching on BBC four.

Every Friday I think 11:30pm to 12:30am Saturday BBC four has been putting on these music at the BBC. Each week a different musical style. Punk last week IIRC and reggae this week. I didn't know that I actually know as much reggae as it turned out I recognised on that programme. Music you like cheers you up.

It wasn't all to my taste. For example some of the newer reggae (ragga) isn't good. Beanieman is OK but popular form of ragga for mass market. Shabbat is a bit dull at times. Other times when he's firing it out like a verbal machine gun he's OK. Then modern Jimmy cliff is not good IMHO. Yes he's a legend and worthy of a jools Holland appearance. That will mean him performing new stuff and an older favourite. But in a compilation show they should play the old favourite track from the jools appearance not the dull new stuff IMHO.

    Anyone see it.

Ordering a new device at good price off t’internet, not paying enough attention, discovering post order placed that said device is to ship from Hong Kong, think hmmm, this is a bit dodgy, only for said device to show up today and be absolutely fine. From the funnily orientated plug prongs inside the box looks like was destined for Aussie market. But it was a good price.
