Scrolling through this site and getting pop-up ads encouraging me to join the army. I wasn’t very good at it last time, do they think I’d be better this time round?

looks alright actually if a bit noisy.

Thanks MF, that’s put me right. It was the noise that done it. Too much shouting.

Don’t mind bangs, after a while you can’t hear the guns anyway. I was alright at bangs... (way before BR days, and the BV could slow cook some chicken curry or babies heads)

My LBS. Just had a call to say its service is all done. The owner knows where I live so has offered to drop it back this evening to save me going out of my way. Proper customer service that. Anyone local to Uckfield I can't recommend Propel bikes highly enough.

I was passed there a couple o years ago -- we happened upon Ucfield rd (or maybe it was lane) I'm sure you can guess what letter the local graffiti pimpernel had sprayed on the sign.

Oh yes, a common occurance. i think they try and make most of their signs these days with no blank space to the left for this very reason

We used to sprint for the (f)uckfield sign, not far from the cafe stop.

Some white supremacist Taylor Swift fans (now there's a niche) are losing their sh*t and crying betrayal because she has endorsed two Democrat candidates in her home state of Tennesee.

I'm trying to decide which is funnier: a blood and soil f***wits nodding his head to Reputation or the claims from said f***wits that she has "ended her career" with this Instagram post.

You should travel to the Austria where they don't need spray paint on some of their village signs. (These are real places).

Apparently the second place kept getting their sign stolen and put out an advert saying that they wanted their ****ing sign back :)

If we're doing silly places then this in Donegal always cheers me up, especially as it genuinely has a diving club!

The new office coffee machines. Gleaming Franke touch-screen jobs. They, and the drinks they magically dispense, are the absolute dog's b0llocks.

Since a colleague pointed out the Extra Shot option I've been fully caffeinated by about 10:30, levitating by lunchtime, and slipping into dehydration / blinding headache around now.

Last time the company went all generous on the hot beverage front it turned out we were being softened up for redundancies. I'm hoping they'll make me an offer......... :D
