I have literally heard every tall joke going. My mates would also get random people at the pub to come and ask me every 5 mins "what's the weather like up there?".

If you meet someone taller than you, do you ask them how tall they are?

You're not that tall, but maybe you are to Piña 😁
I had a mate years back that was huge, I'm not short at 6'2", but this guy was a giant next to me. One of the local dickheads saw him with me in the pub once and asked if I'd bought my body guard because I was so puny, this guy was an inch or so taller than me and thought he was something special. Big mate picked him up with one hand, Darth Vader style. The guy absolutely shat himself and grovelled his apologies, offering to buy us each a pint. We declined the offer and laughed as he scuttled off.

I saw a bloke walking around my nearest town a few years ago wearing a t-shirt saying something like "before you ask I'm 6'10".

I'm also 6'2" and when I first started singing a few years back I joined a musical theatre group which had someone who was 6'9". I never felt that much shorter than him but then had to do a duet with him and saw some rehearsal photos. I looked tiny. It didn't help that he always wore ridiculously skinny jeans which somehow made him look even more lanky.

Market's hot, make the most of it.

We got a good price and the buyers are chain free (and not in a rush) which should put us in a good position for buying. Unfortunately with the market as strong as it is, it's an understatement to say there are not many bargains to be had!

    Couple of viewings now arranged.

Thanks - it's been a while since we last did this. But yep, we're ready for an 'interesting' few months.

Our buyers were time buyers and our vendors were retiring to their second home in Scotland, so should have been quick and hassle free.

    I said should.

TBF, the main problem was our Solicitor who was just unresponsive and slow and told the agents and out sellers everyone there was a delay that it was us not returning paperwork when in fact we had never been sent it.

Hope yours is ok and goes smoothly!

Fingers crossed - there are usually a few wrinkles along the way that need dealing with. Next job is to find the house we want to buy - headed out later to try and do just that.

True story, my friend's neighbour when I growing up (in the '90s) used to tinker and build cars in his front garden.

Anyway, he juiced up a range rover, took it to Germany, flipped it with the whole family in it.

Never knew Brabus did V12 transplants on those things (not sure why as the V8 biturbo is good for silly amounts of power and torque), but that's just trendy SUV type thing so my bargepole will never touch it. Surely a V8 'C-wagon' is close enough?
