  • It's not 'other sport' but whilst we're talking about the McLaren report, I'm hearing that Kolobnev's name is coming up

    Shocked, I tell ya. Shocked.

Fortunately the favourite to become the new head of the Russian Federation is Ekimov. I'm sure he'll clean things up.

(The other candidate is Alexander Vinokourov - but not that one, he just has the same name)

    And Ekimov gets the nod.

Nice to see Russia getting it right again.

Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

Probably paid to have some tests covered up. With money he got for 2010 LBL shenanigans. Shame if he eventually gets done on both counts...

Yes, it has. If the appointment of Ekimov as head of the cycling federation doesn't prove this, nothing will.

I'm pretty confident there aren't. Otherwise a football writer like Matt Lawton would have mentioned it.

The most laughable sentiment is that they don't help because it is a technical sport just like Basketball.

It's football. No-one cares. I certainly don't. Wish my team, and Scottish players generally, took more PED's?

A football team whose pitch is within walking distance of Team Sky's headquarters has been charged with whereabouts infringements.

Looking forward to the 6 month long media frenzy and the select committee hearing on this one. Especially as they have actually been charged!!
Matt Lawton & Dan Roan preparing to milk this one for all its worth for the next few months - or maybe not as it's football

So while some reporters were making a story about about something that may or may not have happened in a sport they know nothing about they missed an actual story in the sport they usually cover. Brilliant!

Typical case of no one even bothering to realise what the clubs could get away with by abusing this system. Seems it's just a three strikes and a fine from the FA. Doesn't even seem to be a UKAD or WADA offence, which seems strange to me

Man City not even front page news on the BBC website anymore. Two articles about cycling on there though - double standards!
At least cycling is now mainstream :)
