18 months on and a few changes to my Ribble Winter Trainer....
Selle Italia C2 Gell Flow saddle - replaces CSN Superleggera K6;
Shimano 105 11-28 cassette - replaces Tiagra 12-25;
Shimano Ultegra BB - replaces Tiagra BB that died following drowning during high water levels!!;
new mudguards possibly Axioms(can't remember brand) but they are longer and a better fit than the orginal Zefals and a better colour match too;
Continental Gatorskins 23c replacing Yawl Nitros;
Pro LT 100mm stem replaces ITM Alutech 110mm;
Have just put a pair of old spare (de-stickered) Alex Race 28 clinchers after the rear hub on the Rodi Airline 4s went last week. Again the wheels have suffered due to doing 800 odd wet and crappy miles and the rim wear markers have almost disappeared so it was time to change them for a pair to see me through to the spring.
Overall this bike has been fantastic and is very stable on wet and muddy roads. I can't recommend it more for a winter hack.My Ti

Sometimes I even put pedals on it!
My lovely old Corsa SLX. Got it about 15 years ago, complete 9 Speed Chorus, for €400. Never needed repairing, apart from occassional new chains and cables.
By the way, I apologise for disobeying "The Rules" with the blue tyres, but they were given to me, honest guv! :-)0 -

Further updates to my Ribble Winter Trainer...
Now added Shimano 5800 105 11 speed. Other changes include Fulcrum Racing Quattros (destickered), 100mm Pro LT stem, Pro Turnix saddle, SKS guards I particularly like the blue/black colourway now, much better than the original silver guards and Tiagra groupset.

Here's my trusty CK7 in current guise:
Recent changes include Zipp CX Service Course bar tape (in grey to match the frame) and FSA wing pro bars. I've also added a Velocity low profile rack for occasional pannier use. Shod with Michelin Pro 4 Endurance tyres (with grey pinstripes!). Kind of thought of upgrading to steel, but have to say I'm enjoying getting back out on this in the recent wet weather.Titus Silk Road Ti rigid 29er - Scott Solace 10 disc - Kinesis Crosslight Pro6 disc - Scott CR1 SL - Pinnacle Arkose X 650b - Pinnacle Arkose singlespeed - Specialized Singlecross...& an Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 string...0 -

Awesome braking power in the wet. Just need to work out how to stop grit catching in the discs and making a horrible grating sound.

No but, for my first race, I hope I did ok. Certainly in the top bit of the bottom 1/3
I'm going to need more carbon, more SRAM red, deeper wheels, more tan walls, a change to tubs and some massive improvements in fitness to challenge.
I loved it though.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
