    Yeah, he made it up and spread it around Twatters - that's how the rumour before the Tour about Sky making some kind of donation to the UCI started (which Sky then had to deny). A poster over on the Cyclingnews forum got over-excited and published a blog talking about it as an example of the invidious corruption at the heart of Sky blah blah. He then posted up a twitter exchange he had with @UCI Overlord in which the latter admitted that he was a parody character who made things up to stir the pot (oh really)

    Oh ok - I confess I missed all of it...Again, the comment was meant as a reference to Larry only.
