Fdj started in 1997 and TVM finished in 1999 so that narrows it down to three years. And 1997 is the one that had a crash on the line.
So 1997 Milan-San Remo.Twitter: @RichN950 -
I nearly put, without checking the url. I suppose if you quote it you can see it though.Contador is the Greatest0

Further research tells us that the riders on the floor are Lars Michaelsen (TVM), Max Sciandri (FdJ) and Laurent Jalabert (Once). They obscure Johan Museeuw who has also gone down (you can just about make him out). Mauro Gianetti is about to plough into them.Twitter: @RichN950

I think that was the 1986 Coors Classic. I seem to remember reading about it in Hinault's biography. Hinault was leading overall and Lemond had initiated an attack putting Hinault's overall lead at risk. Hinault's gesture was aimed at Lemond who was probably getting his own back on Hinault after his treatment in the '86 Tour. Anyway, the attack came to nothing after the break was chased down.0 -

You can still find loads of them knocking about in bike shops but they don't fit modern bars, good idea when not in a bunch!0

According to her, Pantani started with cocaine from one day to the next as a reaction to his expulsion from the 99 Giro, and demanded she also take it to demonstrate her love for him, which she apparently did for 3 months before stopping. I think she was one of those to later suggest that the betting mafia in Italy were at least indirectly responsible for his death.

Indurain looks like an awesome athlete in that picture, from memory he was supposed to have been a pretty classy 400m runner and javlin thrower as a teenager before he got on a bike.0

My god its the phoney Pharaoh, with the equally phoney Tyler Hamilton, baby face Oscar Sevilla and Santiago Botero among the Rock Racing line up. Also there is Roshan Bhatti. Tour of Britain 2008.0
