    All about the glasses. Hinault claimed that Skippy caused the crash cos he couldn't see properly with Oakleys on (at the time Anderson, Lemond and Bauer were the early adopters of the welder's goggles). Hinault's injuries probably made worse by the (metal framed) aviators that he was wearing.

    Haha, love it. Probably wouldn't argue with him about it though, otherwise you would end up with a bloody nose as well!

    It's early season though. I wouldn't expect elite cyclists at peak fitness to be normal sized any more than I would expect it from basketball players or jockeys.
