  • Lovely looking bikes. I am a bit of a Spesh fan but not at your level.

All the best with them and enjoy mate!

Brilliant bikes mate....what the hell does it mater if you give your bikes names.

The same people complaining are probably riding round on Pompino's, unaware of what it means in Italian!

  • They are quite amusing names though.

I picture you as Brian Fantana from Anchorman - introducing his bikes like Brian introduces Ron to 'Sex Panther'

Loving the look of these two bikes. Personally I think matte black with a small dash of colour looks awesome.

You do know you can buy an s-works toupe saddle in black? Would be interested to know if the dye stays put over time and if it runs?

If bikes had babies I'd love to see the offspring of these two. I'm thinking S-works Tarmac SL4 , Campagnolo Super Record with Enve finishing kit and Enve rims laced on Chris King or Tune hubs (With CX-Xray spokes of course). All matte black with gloss black decals.

    Just a thought!

Finally received n installed the McLaren Di2 battery mount kit under the BB today. Waited about 4 months for it. Will take some pics n update soon. Looks really nice now without the silly battery on the down tube n I can use the aero Virtue bottle again.

I wish they could make babies too. I'd breed them n make a bundle of money. Hahaha
I know the saddle is available in black but it has the massive white S-Works logo on the nose n also a fat white strip of paint on the carbon rails. I don't like that. I wanted it to be all black. We're not being paid to advertise for Specialized n I don't need to have S-Works splashed all over my bike.

I was never really a spesh fan (even though my first road bike was an allez!)
These look amazing though, my LBS has a couple venge framesets and they look fantastic in the flesh!
    I'm starting a list now!!! :)

    Latest updates to my Venge.

    1.Rotor crank with Q-Rings.

2.The Di2 battery has been relocated to under the BB using a McLaren Venge battery kit with the aerodynamic carbon cover.

    3. Specialized Virtue aero bottle

    4. Lightweight Meilenstein wheels to make it even more stealthy.

I put it in that gear just so I can start off, down the slope after taking the picture. I did a quick change up to the biggest in the back before I stopped for a quick pic. If you use SRAM Red, you would understand why I try and avoid shifting to the small chainring if possible.

Hah, it was the noise of the cassette more than the flexy front mech that ensured my tenure of SRAM Red was a brief one! Great looking bikes btw.

I don't really mind the noise of the cassette. Gives it a bit of character actually. I just hate the front. Even after changing to the new YAW Red FD, it's still not a very nice FD compared to Shimano. Heck, I have another bike with Shimano Sora that shifts better than the Red FD.

I think a normal cage and bottle would look a lot better on the Venge then that aero thing.

    Great looki g bikes dude
I have to admit that I prefer the lightweights and dura ace cranks on the venge though
Just my Humble opinion ... Have you got a set of factor cranks on the list yet, they'd look pretty good too?
