Martin 29secs up on Westra at finish.
How much time would a puncture have cost him?

Prologue puncture cost him 20 seconds plus whatever time it took to get his rhythm back.

If SKY only have a plan A (their words) does it mean they'll tell Froome to soft pedal? I can't see it myself, but as for Rogers? The whole team went pretty well in the prologue, but do they really want the team award so badly? In theory they should all just roll round and save themselves for Wiggins.

Got to be useful keeping Froome up there in GC though as it makes the other teams have to factor him into their own tactics for winning the race.

    Bummer
Probably would have been about a minute ahead of Westra at the finish.

    I wouldn't wory about it.

I butchered that sentence so badly, I'm amazed you could draw any sense from it at all.

Jens Voigt is flying - only 13 seconds behind Tony Martin after 31.5km
That's a pretty good sign that Martin is hampered by his injury. I think at least 2 of Cancellara, Froome, Evans and Wiggins will go under 53 minutes here, possibly by some margin.

I heard on the ITV4 highlights yesterday that Sky have brought a yellow skinsuit with them. Good move given the problems Wiggins had with the fit of the one at the Dauphine - wasn't it that they only had small, medium or large, but he couldn't take two sizes to try, so ended up with the large and the back taken in?

Thought they had to use the official one as it is sponsored by Le Coq?

Is it not mabe the one from the Dauphine that they tailored. Same skinsuit isn't it?

TdF has different sponsors so not sure it will be.

I bet they just bought a TdF TT yellow Skinsuit and fiddled with it. And a polka dot one. And a Green one. All for Wiggins.
