Didn't we have that one a couple of years ago with the Schlecks as the Greyhounds?0

Evans rode very hard yesterday, maybe in the hope of snatching a couple of seconds. However, is it possible that he is just testing Wiggo's resolve? Remember back in Beijing when wiggo was quite open about how tired he was and completely flaked in the Madison after the pursuits? Perhaps Evans is just going to drill away (particularly yesterday to take the TT sting out of Wiggo) and see if he just crumbles?
who would you back in a TT, a fatigued Evans or a fatigued Wiggo? I know which one I'd back if they were as fresh as daisies but not with a couple of tough stages in their legs.0 -
Yesterday I think he was trying to get yellow so that he could be last off instead of having Wiggins having someone to chase and know how fast the other is going etc.Contador is the Greatest0

Rode no harder than Wiggins...0 -
He made them both ride harder though, I think that's the point. Maybe he thinks that he needs to stretch them both as far as possible in the hope that Wiggins breaks first - do whatever he can to shake things up a bit and prevent Sky riding their data-based tour by numbers. By the way, I don't buy the whole argument that Cadel rides a better time trial with tough stages in his legs. His final TT last year was great, but he has lost a couple of tours he was expected to win because he didn't have it in the legs by the final time trial. We just don't know how Wiggins compares, other than the final TT in 2008 where he underperformed a bit, but seemed to have pacing issues which he has sorted over the last 18 months.0

no surprises Larsson is top early on - but will be hoping David Millar sits there until Wiggins tops himhttp://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png

Lotta Wiggins love over on the PTP thread.
Do we really think Wiggins is a better TTer than Cancellara?“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

Judging by the times not the fastest of courses.
There's a 100m high hill to be gone over before the 16.5 km mark - looks like its 1.5km @ 6 - 7 %. That'll put a crimp in the fast times'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'0 -
interesting to see Tony Martin chasing Steve Cummings by 2 minutes down the road, I suspect that could be an incentive to a good time if his broken thumb holds outhttp://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png

Tony Martin heads the pack by 13 seconds at 1/3rd distance, and takes 40 seconds out of Cummingshttp://veloviewer.com/SigImage.php?a=3370a&r=3&c=5&u=M&g=p&f=abcdefghij&z=a.png

But... I thought those high pressure clinchers were the future?!"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
